Job summary

Eagle Senior Living is seeking a dedicated individual to plan and coordinate therapeutic recreational activities for residents, including evenings and weekends. You will work with the Director to tailor programs to residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs.

The role requires creativity, organization, and comfort with public speaking, plus the ability to evaluate needs and implement safe, engaging activities in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of related work experience in senior living or related field preferred.
• Creative, organized, and comfortable with public speaking.
• Ability to evaluate individuals' needs and set up safe, effective therapeutic programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate therapeutic recreational activities, including evenings and weekends, in coordination with the Director.
• Consult with other departments on activities relating to residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Coordinate transportation and accompany residents on outings.
• Develop and post a monthly activities schedule; maintain twelve months of activity records.
• Assist with the volunteer program and monitor departmental budgetary records.
• Assist in preparing the monthly community newsletter and planning member committees.
