CARB is seeking a dynamic, driven, and experienced leader to serve as an Air Resources Supervisor I within the Petroleum Oversight and Enforcement Section (POES). This critical role supports California’s air quality and climate protection efforts by overseeing enforcement activities across the oil and gas industry. The Section conducts inspections, investigates violations, supports local air districts, and develops programs that protect public health and reduce greenhouse gas emissions at oil and gas facilities. Under the general direction of the Field Operations Branch Chief (Air Resources Supervisor II), the Air Resources Supervisor I leads a team of six engineers and specialists based in both Northern and Southern California offices responsible for day - to - day inspection, investigation, enforcement actions, litigation support, and related programmatic activities statewide.
