Job summary

Amazon's AWS Global Sustainability team seeks an Energy Efficiency Manager to lead energy and water efficiency initiatives across AWS data centers and IT infrastructure in the Americas. You will own regional delivery of energy management programs, drive regulatory compliance, and collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize energy use and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Power/Industrial/Systems/Energy) or related.
5+ years experience in energy & water management and efficiency in data centers or critical infra.
Experience delivering tools and programs for continual energy/water efficiency and optimization.
Experience with technical, commercial, and regulatory analyses for energy and water efficiency in data centers.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical and commercial analysis on energy and water efficiency to inform design, engineering, operations, and sustainability.
Develop tools and relationships to drive continual energy and water efficiency improvements.
Manage Americas delivery of the energy management system, including ISO 50001 certification and audits.
Lead Americas regulatory requirements and advocacy for energy and water efficiency in AWS Infrastructure.
