Job summary

AWS Global Sustainability is seeking an Energy Efficiency Manager to lead energy and water efficiency initiatives across AWS data centers and IT infrastructure in the Americas. You will own programs from data collection to regulatory compliance, partnering with engineering, operations, and sustainability peers to advance best practices.

You will influence design and operating decisions, manage stakeholder communication, and ensure ISO 50001 certification and regional regulatory deliverables

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in energy & water management in data centers or critical infra.
• Experience delivering programs to improve energy and water efficiency.
• Experience with technical, commercial and regulatory analyses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver energy and water efficiency analyses to inform design and operations.
• Develop tools and relationships to drive continual efficiency improvements.
• Own regional Americas delivery of energy management systems, including ISO 50001 and audits.
• Advocate for regulatory requirements and engage stakeholders across legal and policy teams.
