Job summary

Portland General Electric is seeking an Associate Construction Project Manager to lead and support utility construction projects across transmission, distribution and generation assets in Oregon. You will develop plans, manage budgets, and drive projects from permitting through commissioning with a strong focus on safety and quality.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and typically 3+ years in project management or construction, with CAPM/PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field.
• Typically 3+ years of experience in project management or construction management.
• CAPM or PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead small-to-medium scale projects or support larger projects.
• Develop program and project plans, schedules and cost baselines.
• Manage permitting, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate stakeholders and reporting on safety, budget and schedule.
• Ensure compliance and quality across project lifecycle.
