Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Energy & Utility Analyst Intern to apply standard engineering techniques, assist lead engineers, and contribute to project duties across market segments.

Intern will work on design updates, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop communication and analytical skills while supporting the energy transition and critical infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant field from an accredited program.
• Active enrollment and good standing in post-secondary education.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Prior internship or consulting experience is a plus.
• Active participation in campus or community activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Self-motivated with a desire to grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks applying standard engineering techniques and procedures.
