AllianceBernstein’s AB CarVal team in New York seeks an Investment Vice President to lead financial analysis and valuation, drive due diligence and transaction execution, and present recommendations to the investment committee. The role collaborates with senior management and AB CarVal affiliates on energy transition investments.

The VP will originate ideas, manage deal lifecycle, and guide junior professionals while advancing a dynamic, entrepreneurial investment approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in financial services or related field.
• Strong finance, valuation and modeling capabilities.
• Ability to lead analyses and present to investment committees.

Responsabilités

• Lead development, review and interpretation of complex financial models for new investments and existing assets.
• Prepare investment memoranda, develop recommendations, and present to senior staff and committees.
• Manage deal execution and due diligence across the deal lifecycle from screening to closing.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify risks and opportunities with management teams.
• Originating ideas for transactions, lead research and evaluate market opportunities.
• Serve as day-to-day lead and point of contact with advisors, banks and lenders.
• Lead debt and tax equity structuring, lender materials and due diligence.
• Support sourcing by maintaining market relationships and evaluating opportunities.
• Evaluate opportunities across private equity, private debt and platform investments.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative investment culture.
