Job summary

Evergy in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Systems Support Analyst - EEP to provide business systems, process, and analytical support for Evergy Energy Partners' trading operations across front, middle, and back offices.

You will collaborate with business users and IT, develop process documentation, translate requirements into technical specs, perform testing, training, and post-release validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in functional design and implementation of computer systems or trading/risk management systems is a plus.
• Experience delivering application support, business analysis, or systems support in energy, financial, or trading environments preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, and process-improvement focus required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front/middle/back office process documentation (As-Is/To-Be).
• Gather functional requirements and write acceptance criteria for IT translation into specs.
• Coordinate testing and validate releases with stakeholders and IT teams.
• Provide Level 1/2 support for EEP systems as first point of contact for end users.
• Create training materials and assist with change management and user onboarding.
