Job summary

ENGIE North America seeks an Applications Management Advisor to support front-to-back Energy Trading and Risk Management environments. You will build data pipelines, maintain SSIS packages, and optimize SQL queries while collaborating with analysts and stakeholders in a fast-paced trading setting.

Role requires 7+ years experience, Bachelor’s degree, expertise in SQL Server/SSIS/SSRS, and Python for data engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of relevant work experience.
Expert-level SQL Server experience including design, optimization, and SSIS.
Experience with SSRS or similar reporting platforms.
Proficiency in Python for data engineering and APIs.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL processes and SSIS packages.
Develop, optimize SQL queries, procedures, views, and functions across data warehouses.
Integrate and validate data from SQL Server, Oracle, CSV, and APIs.
Implement data quality controls, logging, and reconciliation across systems.
Support ETRM platform data—trade, risk, P&L, and exposure data.
Create and maintain reports, dashboards, data mappings, and documentation.
Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate needs into solutions.
Provide production support while balancing priorities.
