Atlas Oil Company, headquartered in Taylor, Mich., seeks a Commercial Analyst to join its crude oil and liquids trading team. You will perform market analysis, support trade desk activities, and manage commercial exposure, delivering actionable insights that drive trading, marketing, and business development.

The role involves tracking fundamentals, risk assessment, deal evaluation, and coordinating logistics for crude movements while collaborating with customers and trading partners.

Formación

• 2-3 years of experience as a Commercial Analyst for a trading team or floor.
• Experience in market analytics, blending, and/or physical scheduling is a plus.
• Familiarity with the evolving energy landscape and hedging concepts is preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis.
• Strong commercial and communication skills; comfortable with customer-facing interactions.

Responsabilidades

• Track market fundamentals including supply/demand, flows, arbitrage, and infrastructure.
• Monitor policy, regulatory, and new energy developments.
• Support traders with hedging, risk and scenario analysis.
• Evaluate deal economics, blending, and asset optimization.
• Assist in transaction structuring and execution across crude and liquids markets.
• Prepare presentations and materials for customers and trading partners.
• Participate in customer meetings to support relationships.
• Manage daily P&L, exposure, and position reporting with accuracy.
• Ensure trade capture integrity with middle/back office collaboration.
• Assist in scheduling/logistics of crude movements (pipeline, rail, barge, truck).
