Job summary

Lindahl Reed, Inc. is seeking an Energy Technician to assist the MCRD Energy Manager and Public Works Office in achieving an energy management program.

The role includes inspecting and troubleshooting HVAC, boilers, chillers, and energy-intensive systems, collecting data, and supporting energy projects and reporting. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or energy certification with at least 2 years of experience; HVAC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or energy technical certification with 2 years of experience.
• HVAC, boilers, chillers or other energy-intensive systems experience preferred.
• Background check required after offer; EOE statement included.

Responsibilities

• Assist with energy engineering activities.
• Support development and implementation of energy solutions.
• Inspect energy systems, collect data, and prepare analyses and reports.
• Provide technical support and data analysis under engineering supervision.
• Support energy awareness and training activities.
• Assist with energy reporting and other installation requirements.
