1898 & Co. in Houston seeks an Energy & Utilities Analyst to support power system studies for fossil and renewable projects, assess transmission and distribution, and assist with financial and economic analyses.

Under supervision of a consultant or project manager, you will help with due diligence, cost/benefit evaluations, and preparing technical reports and client presentations. Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; strong analytical, communication, and teamwork

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong analytical and communication skills are required.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
GPA 3.0+ preferred; campus/community involvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyzes engineering, financial, and economic conditions to support client projects.
Applies standard engineering and financial concepts within consulting.
Assists with life-cycle cost analyses including capital, O&M, and performance costs.
Supports power system planning and operations analysis.
Prepares technical reports and client presentations summarizing results.
Performs other duties and complies with policies.
