Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, time-management, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Builds predictive models to evaluate energy systems and inform policy and operational decisions.
• Align with Modeling Support initiatives as an Energy Systems Modeler to design and execute industry-standard models.
• Provide public comment review, data analysis, modeling, evaluation, forecasting and report development for DOE Office of Policy.
• Support analyses for DOE initiatives in renewable energy, fossil fuels, nuclear energy, hydrogen, carbon capture and energy storage.
• Design and execute models for energy systems, technologies, and policies to provide actionable insights.
