Peak Energy is seeking a Test Engineer for ESS to advance testing and functional verification of energy storage systems. You will work with design and simulation teams to set up tests, analyze results, and inform product directions with rigorous data.

The role emphasizes collaboration, rapid iteration, and a proactive ownership mindset, with responsibilities across functional, thermal, electrical, and mechanical testing. We value hands-on problem solving and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; internships or projects count.
• Strong fundamentals in electromechanical engineering principles.
• Experience with data processing and testing environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead and conduct comprehensive testing of functional, thermal, electrical (HV/LV), and mechanical systems across energy storage products.
• Develop test strategies, plans, and procedures to evaluate risks vs performance and safety.
• Design and acquire testing equipment and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design integrity and improvements.
• Analyze test data, report findings, and drive system enhancements.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues during testing.
• Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
• Drive innovation in testing methodologies and practices.
• Interface with design, simulation, and manufacturing teams to inform decisions.
• Maintain detailed test records and prepare internal/external reports.
