Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to lead the end-to-end development of Energy Storage System products, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to drive successful development, integration and deployment.

This role requires strong leadership to align stakeholders, mitigate risks, and keep timelines and budgets on track, thriving in a multi-vendor environment with a passion for clean energy technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Master’s or PMP preferred.
• 5+ years in program or project management, ideally in energy or complex hardware/software integration.
• Proven track record managing multi-vendor projects in energy storage or related systems.
• Strong understanding of energy storage tech, including batteries, inverters, and grid integration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate stakeholders across battery/inverter suppliers, field service, system integrator, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and budgets with KPIs.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks; implement mitigation and contingency plans.
• Prepare status updates, dashboards, and executive reports on project health.
• Oversee integration and testing of ESS components to meet standards.
• Optimize resource utilization; negotiate with suppliers to secure commitments.
• Drive continuous improvements based on lessons learned.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (UL, IEC) and environmental guidelines.
