Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering; Master’s or PMP preferred.
5+ years in program or project management, ideally in energy or complex hardware/software integration.
Proven track record managing multi-vendor projects in energy storage or related systems.
Strong understanding of energy storage tech, including batteries, inverters, and grid integration.

Responsibilities

Coordinate stakeholders across battery/inverter suppliers, field service, system integrator, and internal teams.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and budgets with KPIs.
Identify risks and bottlenecks; implement mitigation and contingency plans.
Prepare status updates, dashboards, and executive reports on project health.
Oversee integration and testing of ESS components to meet standards.
Optimize resource utilization; negotiate with suppliers to secure commitments.
Drive continuous improvements based on lessons learned.
Ensure compliance with safety standards (UL, IEC) and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate collaboration among diverse parties, including battery suppliers, inverter suppliers, field service and commissioning teams, system integrator, and internal cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, procurement, quality assurance, and operations).
Project Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plan, timelines, milestones, and budgets. Track progress using tools like Gantt charts, risk registers, and performance metrics to ensure the program stays on schedule and within scope.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks across the supply chain and integration processes. Implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address issues proactively.
Communication and Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders. Prepare regular status updates, dashboards, and executive reports on project health, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Integration Oversight: Manage the technical and operational integration of ESS components, ensuring compatibility between batteries, inverters, and other subsystems. Coordinate testing, validation, and commissioning activities to meet regulatory and performance standards.
Resource Allocation: Optimize resource utilization across teams. Negotiate with suppliers and partners to resolve conflicts and secure commitments.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze project outcomes to identify lessons learned. Drive process enhancements for future programs, incorporating feedback from all involved parties.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations (e.g., UL, IEC), and environmental guidelines throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field); Master’s degree or PMP certification preferred.
5+ years of experience in program or project management, ideally in the energy sector, renewable technologies, or complex hardware/software integration projects.
Proven track record managing multi-vendor projects, with experience in energy storage, batteries, inverters, or similar systems.
Strong understanding of energy storage technologies, including lithium-ion batteries, power conversion systems, and grid integration.

Required Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Analytical mindset with experience in risk assessment, budgeting, and forecasting.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing requirements.
Familiarity with supply chain management, contract negotiation, and vendor performance evaluation.
Commitment to sustainability and innovation in the energy industry.
