TÜV SÜD America Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineering Technical Leader for Energy Storage & Power Systems in Auburn Hills, MI. This onsite, full-time role leads technical activities across battery storage, grid systems, and industrial power infrastructures.

You will collaborate with customers, labs, and sales teams to ensure compliance, safety, and effective deployment of advanced energy technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Energy Engineering).
• Significant experience with complex industrial systems and electrical infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering, product integration, and system-level design.

Responsabilités

• Provide systems-level technical leadership for energy storage and power systems projects.
• Act as a technical lead across multidisciplinary teams and laboratories.
• Facilitate technical workshops, design reviews, and compliance planning with customers.
• Translate requirements into testing, certification, validation, and market-access strategies.
• Coordinate activities across battery systems, electrical infrastructure, controls, power conversion, software, and cyber security.
• Identify certification risks and project challenges; guide deployment pathways.
• Collaborate with laboratories, sales, and global technical experts for a seamless customer experience.
• Provide updates and risk assessments to customers, stakeholders, and management.
• Support business growth by identifying new opportunities in energy storage capabilities.
