Job summary

SKon is seeking a Sales Applications Engineer for its Energy Storage Systems (ESS) team in SKBA (SKon US). You will act as a technical sales expert, supporting pre-sales activities, optimizing system designs, and guiding contract negotiations to enable successful deployments in the US market.

You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and legal teams to deliver technically sound proposals, develop robust cost models, and ensure competitive shaping of SKon's ESS offerings across projects and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical or CS).
• 3+ years in a technical/engineering role within the BESS industry; 5+ years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BESS, cells, batteries and modules; system design experience.
• Experience with ISO-NE, NYPA, ERCOT, CAISO is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical sales support and engage in client meetings.
• Develop cost models and automated tools to streamline sales processes.
• Prepare RFP responses and lead technical contract negotiations.
