Job summary

A growing energy firm is looking for a Project Manager to oversee utility-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. The successful candidate will lead comprehensive project lifecycles, manage regulatory applications, and ensure projects meet technical specifications. Applicants should have 5+ years of experience in renewable energy project management, ideally within the Florida/Texas market, and possess a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in renewable energy or battery storage project management.
• Knowledge of interconnection procedures and utility regulations.
• Experience with resilience design for extreme weather events.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of BESS projects from pre-construction through commissioning.
• Manage interconnection applications and approvals with utilities.
• Oversee EPC partners to ensure project delivery on time and on budget.
• Integrate resilience measures into project designs.
• Build relationships with permitting authorities and stakeholders.
• Provide clear project updates and reports to executives.
