Job summary

IHI Terrasun Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of energy storage project deployments across customer sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of energy-related project experience including batteries, inverters, HVAC and control systems.
• Experience in energy engineering and project management.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for energy storage projects
• Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget
• Define project scope and objectives with relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Work with the commissioning manager for commissioning tasks and testing
• Collaboratively work with multi-disciplinary engineering team to ensure reviews and recommendations are completed
• Act as a team-lead and mentor junior staff
• Keep abreast of technology trends and changes
• Interact with senior-level personnel as required
• Directs procurement to ensure delivery dates are met
