Jupiter Power seeks a Development Associate to oversee a portfolio of energy storage projects from early stage through pre-construction. You will support permitting, land acquisition, interconnection, and collaborate with our team to advance Jupiter’s growing portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in energy storage or renewables project development, strong attention to detail, and the ability to travel up to 35% across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in energy storage or renewables project development.
• Experience delivering complex development projects across multiple stages.
• Ability to build and lead internal and external teams.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and tight timelines.
• Willingness to travel up to 35% across projects.

Responsibilities

• Advance development positions from desktop screening through pre-construction.
• Work across U.S. projects as priorities change within the organization.
• Identify and maintain relationships with landowners, officials and stakeholders.
• Create and manage project budgets, development plans, and schedules.
• Support finance with financial models and evaluate key inputs.
• Support pricing and RFP opportunities for potential customers.
• Assist and lead land campaigns for new siting efforts.
• Collaborate to master market dynamics in target areas.
• Outline and manage due diligence for commercial and M&A activities.
