Jupiter Power is looking for a Development Director to lead the development of projects ranging from early to late stage developments in rural and urban settings. This role is responsible for all key development activities, ranging from complex permitting and land acquisition efforts to advancing conceptual design, planning, interconnection, and supporting construction and project execution. As a tight‑knit, interdisciplinary team, we collaborate closely on priorities and expect individuals to be flexible and focused on advancing broader team objectives. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, hard‑working, and enthusiastic about collaborating with both the development team and the broader Jupiter organization to advance Jupiter’s significant and growing platform. This individual is expected to apply “best‑in‑class” principles and can expect their colleagues to do the same.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Chicago, IL office and will be subject to our Company’s return-to-office policy which currently requires a minimum of three days a week in the office.We are targeting candidates with 8+ years of experience in energy storage or renewables project development. Role will be dependent on experience.
$170,000 - $195,000
This pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Jupiter Power considers a number of factors when determining starting compensation such as the position requirements and the candidate's qualifications.
In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus and equity programs.
