Job summary

Torus Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Technician in Salt Lake City to assemble mechanical frames and electrical sub-assemblies for energy storage systems. You will work across specialized production areas, using overhead cranes and a range of hand and power tools to build high‑quality modules.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency, with opportunities to advance in a dynamic, growth‑minded manufacturing environment at our GigaOne facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and color-coded wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on proficiency with hand and power tools (drills, wrenches, rivet guns, etc.).
• Experience with large-scale structural materials and safety-focused manufacturing.
• Active OSHA-compliant forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical frames and components according to engineering drawings and specs.
• Operate hand, pneumatic, and power tools; maintain and calibrate tooling.
• Move and position heavy components using overhead cranes and rigging with safety best practices.
• Route and terminate wiring and sub-assemblies across build areas; perform tests and quality checks.
• Follow OSHA safety policies; keep a clean, organized 5S work area.
