Job summary

Torus Inc. is expanding its Salt Lake City manufacturing at the GigaOne facility and seeking an Electrical Sub Assembly Manufacturing Technician. This role focuses on wiring high and low voltage assemblies, mechanical integration, and quality control to support reliable, scalable energy systems.

You will collaborate with engineers and other technicians, follow engineering diagrams, and maintain documentation while prioritizing safety and efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of related control/electrical panel wiring experience (depending on level).
• Knowledge and experience in high-voltage and low-voltage electrical assemblies and wiring, as well as mechanical assemblies.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical components, tools, and equipment commonly used in manufacturing.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to build assemblies based on color coded wiring diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• High-voltage and Low-voltage Electrical Assemblies: Perform assembly and wiring of electrical components following diagrams and specifications.
• Mechanical Assemblies: Assemble and integrate mechanical components using hand and power tools.
• Quality Control: Inspect completed assemblies and verify functionality, addressing defects.
• Documentation and Reporting: Record measurements, adjustments, and test results; generate reports.
• Equipment Maintenance: Assist in calibration and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
