Job summary

Baker Hughes Holdings LLC invites students to join its University Internship program in Sourcing for 2027. The program aims to provide hands-on experience with suppliers, procurement processes, and HS&E standards within a global energy technology company.

Interns will collaborate on vendor assessments, manage relationships, help control inventory, and process purchase orders while being mentored by managers and a dedicated buddy.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, STEM or business.
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent.
• Fluent in written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• Be able to relocate for the duration of the internship (locations vary).

Responsibilities

• Collaborating in the evaluation and assessment of potential suppliers and vendors to ensure they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Supporting management of relationships with existing suppliers, including communication, performance evaluations, and issue resolution.
• Assisting in managing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of critical materials while minimizing excess inventory costs.
• Supporting the creation, processing, and tracking of purchase orders for materials and services.
• Applying HS&E standards and procedures to ensure compliance.
