Job summary

Energy Drive Systems seeks an Energy Solutions Engineer to identify and deliver industrial energy efficiency opportunities across North America. You’ll assess client systems, develop electrical solutions and support projects from concept to handover.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering and project teams, design MV motor/drive-based solutions, model energy performance and travel regionally to engage heavy industries.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10+ years’ experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of MV motors, VFDs, pumps, fans and rotating equipment.
• Experience developing technical solutions for industrial applications.
• Experience with energy modelling, system performance analysis or equipment sizing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Willingness to travel across North America.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and deliver industrial energy efficiency opportunities.
• Assess customer systems and develop technical solutions.
• Support projects from opportunity development through handover.
• Prepare technical proposals and customer presentations.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to develop opportunities.
• Coordinate with Project Engineering and Maintenance for delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with customer engineering teams.
