Job summary

Community Renewal Team Inc seeks an Assistant Program Manager in the Energy department to oversee day-to-day operations of Energy Assistance programs in line with state and federal regulations. The role supports the Director Energy Services and trains staff on program rules and CRT procedures.

The position requires an associates degree and five years in human services with staff supervision, plus a valid driver’s license and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to relate effectively to people from diverse backgrounds.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely certification of mailed-in energy applications/homebound.
• Conducts weekly quality assurance measures and reports to management.
• Produces weekly report on aged energy applications.
• Trains town staff on current Energy Assistance regulations and CRT policies.
• Backs up timely execution of supplemental energy assistance awards (Safety Nets, Operation Fuel).

Education

Associate's Degree in human, social services, or related field
