Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a Utilities Supervisor to oversee the operations, maintenance, monitoring, scheduling and improvements of resort-wide life safety, security control, environmental building management and utilities systems.

The role emphasizes energy conservation initiatives, cost control, and regulatory compliance, with leadership over Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing and related systems. A strong focus on safety and collaboration with other departments is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AA degree or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience required.
• 5–7 years in operation and maintenance of industrial/commercial utilities systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and operations of Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing and related systems.
• Develop and communicate annual budgets for utility departments.
• Coach and evaluate utility trade technicians and staff.
• Ensure safety and compliance with EH&S responsibilities.
• Coordinate with ride/show and facility maintenance on utilities issues to ensure readiness.
