Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, FL seeks a seasoned Utilities/MEP Supervisor to lead operations, maintenance and improvements of resort-wide life safety, security control, environmental building management and utilities systems. The role includes energy conservation initiatives and overseeing utility services.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• AA degree or equivalent from two-year college preferred.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience in utilities/maintenance.
• 5–7 years operation and maintenance of industrial/commercial utilities systems.
• Licensure/certifications required: Journeyman Electrical, Journeyman Plumber, HVAC license A or B, EPA Refrigerant Handling.
• Contractor licenses and government/military utility certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and communicates annual budgets for utility departments.
• Supervises Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Alarm work and maintenance.
• Coaches and evaluates utility trade technicians and staff.
• Manages PM schedules and emergency repairs for utilities.
• Implements site-wide energy conservation goals to reduce costs.
• Coordinates with utilities and government agencies for reliable service.
