Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking an Energy Marshall / Energy Management Specialist to join our MEP Building Technology team on a Shippingport, PA project. This full-time, in-person role demands hands-on energy control expertise and strong safety leadership on-site.

Responsibilities include administering the Energy Control Program and LOTO policy, guiding trades to comply with NFPA 70E and OSHA standards, reviewing energization plans and procedures, and conducting audits to sustain a safe work

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in energy control or electrical safety in mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E and related safety standards.
• Experience developing and managing LOTO programs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Administer Energy Control Program and LOTO Policy, including planning and training.
• Support trade contractors to ensure NFPA 70E and OSHA compliance.
• Review energization plans, lockout/tagout procedures, and MOPs for safe activation.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses related to energy control and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate energy management with installation and commissioning work.
• Conduct audits of the Energy Control Program and address non-compliance with contractors.
