Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking an Energy Marshall / Energy Management Specialist to join our MEP Building Technology team on the Conesville, Ohio project. This is a full-time, in-person position.

You will administer the Energy Control Program and LOTO policy, support trades to ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and OSHA, review energization plans, and conduct audits to maintain safe operation. Ideal candidates will have strong communication, formal safety program experience, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in energy control or electrical safety.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, and related safety standards.
• Experience developing and managing LOTO programs.

Responsibilities

• Program and Policy Management: Administer Holder’s Energy Control Program and LOTO Policy, including planning, training, site implementation, compliance monitoring, auditing, and enforcement.
• Supervision and Compliance: Support trade contractors to ensure full adherence to NFPA 70E, OSHA standards, and energy control requirements.
• Energization and Energy Management: Review and validate energization plans, lockout/tagout procedures, and MOPs to ensure safe activation.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate and document incidents or near-misses related to energy control and implement corrective actions.
• Coordination: Facilitate alignment between energy management activities and ongoing installation and commissioning work.
• Auditing: Conduct regular audits of the Energy Control Program (ECP) and collaborate with trade contractors to resolve non-compliance issues.
