Job summary

Daksta seeks an Energy Marshal to oversee electrical safety and energy management for large-scale data centre projects. You will be the on-site lead ensuring safe and efficient execution of electrical systems during construction and commissioning phases.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, extensive experience in electrical safety or energy management, and strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in electrical safety or energy management.
• Strong understanding of lockout/tagout procedures and electrical hazard mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-site contact for electrical safety and energy management.
• Oversee electrical safety protocols and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe design, installation, and commissioning of energy systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical systems to identify and mitigate risks.
• Review and approve energy isolation plans and work permits for electrical tasks.
• Provide on-site training and guidance on electrical safety practices.
