Edison Smart® is seeking an experienced Energy Marshal to support a major data center project in Texas. The Energy Marshal will oversee electrical safety, energy control activities, and proper isolation and energisation in accordance with procedures and project requirements.

The role involves collaborating with construction, commissioning, electrical and operations teams to maintain safe working practices throughout construction, energisation, testing and commissioning.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as Energy Marshal or similar role on large projects.
• Data center or mission-critical project experience.
• Strong knowledge of LOTO and isolation procedures.
• Ability to review electrical drawings and switching procedures.
• Experience with LV/MV/HV systems.
• Excellent coordination with construction and commissioning teams.

Aufgaben

• Act as the Energy Marshal and electrical safety representative for the project.
• Oversee energisation and de-energisation of electrical systems.
• Coordinate LOTO activities and isolation plans.
• Review switching procedures and electrical safety documentation.
• Coordinate switching with construction and commissioning teams.
• Maintain records of isolations and energised systems.
• Support development of electrical safety procedures.
• Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Ensure electrical work follows approved procedures.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
