Job summary

Oliver Wyman is seeking an Associate in its Energy practice, based in Houston. You will break down complex problems, plan analyses, and guide junior consultants to deliver client-ready recommendations across the energy value chain.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of energy consulting or industry experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a top-degree background. Willingness to travel and relocate to Houston is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 4–6 years of relevant energy consulting or industry experience with hands-on exposure to asset-intensive or operational environments.
• Based in Houston or willing to relocate to Houston for the role.
• Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in formal and informal settings.
• An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
• Willingness to travel.
• Initiative, creativity and ability to work across teams to solve client problems.
