Job summary

Oliver Wyman is seeking an Engagement Manager focused on Energy and Commodity Trading in Houston. You will lead client engagements, develop strategies, and drive high-impact projects with senior executives.

The role requires 5-7 years in trading strategy and transformation, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering results. Hybrid work with travel is required, and collaboration with energy clients across North America.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Supply & Trading Strategy & transformation.
• Experience with Oil & Gas and/or Power clients preferred.
• Understanding of Trading Operating Models and Commercial Optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership of client projects and manage client relationships.
• Lead complex programs to ensure on-time delivery and impact.
• Influence clients and act as trusted advisors across engagements.
• Identify new opportunities and contribute to business development.
• Develop intellectual capital and lead firm-building activities.
• Coach junior team members and guide hypothesis development.
• Oversee project planning, workflows, and delivery quality.
