Job summary

AmeriCorps & Senior Corps is seeking an Energy Burden & Community Resiliency VISTA to help residents reduce energy costs, boost efficiency, and strengthen community resilience. You will develop education tools, coordinate with partners, and support planning for a Community Resilience Center.

You will build volunteer resources, define outcomes, identify funding opportunities, and ensure long-term program sustainability across related projects and sites.

Qualifications

Experience in fundraising or grant writing is preferred.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
Interest in energy efficiency and community resilience.

Responsibilities

Develop and strengthen programs to reduce energy costs and improve energy efficiency.
Create resident education, resource-navigation, and emergency-preparedness tools.
Develop partnerships with energy-efficiency providers and community organizations.
Support planning for a Community Resilience Center.
Build volunteer and partner resources, establish outcome measures, identify funding needs, and create sustainable procedures.
Coordinate improvements to Annie’s House resilience with the Demonstration Site VISTA and align services with HHV.
