Job description

Develop energy-burden strategy, resident education and resource-navigation systems, energy-efficiency partnerships and program models, community-resilience-center planning, emergency-preparedness tools, volunteer and partner resources, outcome measures, program-specific funding inputs, procedures, and handoff. Coordinate physical Annie’s House resiliency with the Demonstration Site VISTA. Collaborate closely with HHV VISTA.

Member Duties :

The VISTA will develop and strengthen programs that help residents reduce energy costs, improve energy efficiency, and build household and community resilience. They will create resident education, resource-navigation, and emergency-preparedness tools; develop partnerships with energy-efficiency providers and community organizations; and support planning for a Community Resilience Center. The VISTA will also build volunteer and partner resources, establish outcome measures, identify program-specific funding needs and opportunities, and create procedures and systems to ensure long-term program sustainability. They will coordinate improvements to the physical resiliency of Annie’s House with the Demonstration Site VISTA and collaborate closely with the Healthy Homes VISTA (HHV) to align resident services, education, and resources.
