Job summary

ICF is seeking a Configuration Analyst Intern to support the software development cycle and system data management within the Energy and Utility Programs area. The role is a 10-week summer internship, full-time, with hybrid work from Reston, VA.

Relocation or housing assistance are not provided at this time. Responsibilities include assisting in requirements, design, testing, and delivery of energy efficiency tracking tools, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, and supporting

Qualifications

Minimum 30 credit hours in Computer Science, IT, or related subjects.
Experience with MS Office products (Excel, Visio, Teams, PowerPoint) is preferred.
Strong customer service focus with good planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Support all aspects of the software development cycle including requirements, design, testing, and delivery of energy efficiency tracking and reporting tools.
Communicate regularly with the team and lead status update meetings.
Define system requirements with IT stakeholders and assist in design approaches.
Develop understanding of client processes and identify technology improvements.
Understand ICF IT systems and help deliver client solutions with senior technologists.
Be the first point of contact for users with issues and delegate tasks as needed.
