Job summary

MoFo seeks an attorney with 3–6+ years of significant law firm experience in energy regulatory law, power markets, or related energy matters to join our New York office.

You will advise data center developers, hyperscalers, or large energy users, with experience in FERC, state utilities, and appellate courts preferred. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver practical, client‑focused solutions and advance complex energy transactions.

Qualifications

• 3 - 6+ years of significant law firm experience in energy regulatory law, power markets, infrastructure transactions, or related energy matters.
• Advising data center developers, hyperscalers, or large energy users.
• Experience in digital infrastructure, co-located generation, or large-scale energy procurement.
• Experience with regulatory proceedings before FERC, state public utility commissions, and appellate courts preferred but not required.
• Proactive with strong business sense and ability to manage client and counsel relationships.
• Ability to communicate complex matters concisely in oral and written form with a client-focused approach.
• Entrepreneurial, innovative, and forward thinking.
• Strong business and legal problem-solving skills and judgement.
• Strong work ethic, team player attitude, and willingness to take on more responsibility.
