Job summary

Welty Energy & Infrastructure (WE&I) is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to support the Program Support team in Fairlawn, OH. The role focuses on ensuring materials, equipment, and services arrive on time, within budget, and per engineering specs.

The successful candidate will manage vendor performance, track project expenditures, and coordinate procurement activities across projects with attention to schedule risk and supply continuity.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent work experience in purchasing, materials management, business, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of related work experience required; or 6+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Material Timeline Alignment: map supplier lead times to the master project schedule and identify bottlenecks.
• Project-Specific Procurement: issue POs aligned to project BOM and engineering requirements.
• Expediting & Tracking: monitor critical path materials and provide status updates to PMs.
• Site Delivery Coordination: schedule inbound shipments and prepare offloading equipment.
• Vendor Performance Management: evaluate supplier on deadlines, quality and pricing; document discrepancies.
• Budget Tracking & Invoicing: track expenditures and reconcile POs, receiving slips and invoices.
• Risk Mitigation: develop backup sourcing strategies and resolve disruptions.
