Job summary

Aurex Group is seeking a Project Finance Associate for our New York team. The role focuses on evaluating, structuring and executing project financings across energy and infrastructure sectors, offering substantial exposure to senior professionals and portfolios.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of project finance experience, strong financial modeling skills, and a background in energy-related projects. This full-time position is based in New York with significant transaction responsibility.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance or related field.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical abilities.
• Understanding of project-level debt structures, credit analysis and transaction documentation.
• Exposure to power, renewable energy, infrastructure or energy transition assets.
• Experience supporting transactions from evaluation through financial close.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics/Engineering/Accounting or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and execute project financing opportunities across energy, power, infrastructure.
• Build and review detailed project finance models with cash flow forecasts.
• Support structuring and execution of debt financings.
• Perform financial, commercial and credit analysis on new transactions.
• Coordinate due diligence across technical, legal, tax and other workstreams.
• Review transaction documentation with internal teams and lenders.
• Prepare investment and transaction materials for senior management.
• Assist negotiations through financial close.
• Monitor existing investments and covenant compliance.
• Conduct market and industry analysis to identify opportunities.
