Job summary

K&A Engineering in Westwood, MA is seeking a proactive Project Associate to support cross-functional teams on utility and energy projects. You will coordinate resources, manage schedules, prepare RFIs and submittals, and assist in site development activities under a Project Manager.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Business with 2+ years of experience (or an Associate with 3+ years), strong MS Office skills, and a collaborative, customer-service oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field with minimum 2 years of experience, or an Associate Degree with 3 years of experience.
• Preferred utility construction and project management experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative team player.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented and customer-service oriented.
• Hybrid position requiring office visits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external resources to support project scope (engineering, outages, permitting, scheduling, safety, procurement).
• Develop and manage project schedules and review/prepare RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Assist in developing and reviewing technical bid documents and field reviews.
• Lead or participate in contractor pre-bid meetings and field activities.
• Support integration and use of E-Builder and ERP systems as needed.
