Job summary

Uplight is seeking an entry-level Program Operator to help execute day-to-day operational processes for utility demand response and virtual power plant programs. You will support enrollment, event execution, and scalable workflows while working under close supervision.

This role is designed for learning with growth potential, requiring strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills, and a willingness to learn tools like Jira, Confluence, Asana, Excel, and more.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role requiring minimal experience.
• Operate autonomously on low-complexity tasks; seek guidance when necessary.
• Strong time management to coordinate multiple projects and deliverables.
• Willingness to learn Jira/Confluence, Asana, Excel, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Address Tier 2 customer support ticket escalations.
• Execute operational workflows and manual processes as needed.
• Document processes and suggest standardization for scalability.
• Provide on-call support across programs during event seasons.
• Train and support contractors to ensure consistent execution.
• Prioritize work across programs to meet SLAs.
