Job summary

ICF seeks a detail-oriented professional to support federal, state, and local energy programs, focusing on policy research and the implementation of national technical assistance efforts across CONUS.

You will coordinate with leadership and clients, manage staffing and budgets, and develop regional strategies to improve energy program delivery, with a hybrid work option from Reston, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, energy, urban planning, or related fields.
• 6+ years’ experience in policy research and program implementation support.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and contribute as a team player.
• Familiarity with energy-savings-related strategies and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating with clients and other team members to develop local, regional, and national strategies to influence the market and increase participation in voluntary energy-related programs
• Coordinating across task orders at the contract level on reporting, budget, QA/QC, and subcontractor TA provider network
• Supporting TA recipient onboarding and ongoing support through TA project execution
• Conducting research and analysis of related programs and policies
• Assisting with project management tasks including project deliverables, program staffing, and budget management
• Developing communication, outreach, and training resources, including newsletters, case studies, website content, webinars, and in-person events
