Job summary

Resource Innovations in Peoria, IL is seeking a Program Associate to provide administrative and outreach support for partnerships with Community Based Organizations on energy efficiency and clean energy programs in Illinois.

You will coordinate communications, manage data and reports, support events, and help ensure program requirements are met. This role requires organization, strong communication, and comfort with CRM tools and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of relevant work experience in customer service, energy efficiency or working with community-based organizations.
• Self-motivated and highly organized with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Results-driven and able to collaborate across all levels to deliver on commitments and objectives.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote and Teams and Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel regularly throughout Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and program partners, supporting communication and engagement with utility energy efficiency programs.
• Assist with outreach, partner engagement, and ongoing relationship management.
• Represent the utility and program at community events, outreach activities, and partner meetings by staffing information tables, engaging the public, and providing program information and support.
• Collect, review, and maintain program data, invoices, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Track project activities, milestones, deliverables, and deadlines using database systems and project tracking tools.
• Review partner activities and documentation to ensure compliance with program requirements.
• Identify and elevate issues, recommend solutions, and communicate potential scheduling or project conflicts.
• Prepare and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data, process, and documentation issues to ensure successful program execution.
• Other duties as assigned.
