Job summary

ICF is hiring three internship tracks—Program Operations, Program Delivery, and Program Outreach—as part of its Utility, Programs and Services division. This 10-week, full-time internship begins in early June 2027, with hourly pay of $23 for undergraduates and $28 for graduates.

Roles may be remote with preference for candidates near Houston, TX, Missouri, Arkansas, or Chicago, IL; relocation or housing assistance is not provided.

Qualifications

• By start date, minimum 30 completed college-level credit hours required.
• Undergraduate students: pay is $23/hour; graduate students: $28/hour.
• US citizenship or work authorization may apply; background check may be required.
• Strong written and verbal communication, data analysis, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with data analytics tools is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support execution of program activities, events, tasks, and deliverables.
• Conduct research and analyze data on market trends, customer segments, and energy efficiency equipment.
• Evaluate market potential and networks; develop outreach and value proposition strategies.
• Prepare reports, schedules, meeting minutes, and program documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions and timely outputs.
• Provide administrative and communications support and help teams meet priorities.
