Job summary

Cadmus seeks an entrepreneurial leader to build and grow our Energy Program Administration practice, aligning strategy with client needs and market opportunities. The role leads business development, go-to-market strategy, and delivery excellence for utilities and government clients, driving decarbonization and energy savings while expanding capabilities and scale across regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of energy efficiency, clean energy, or utility program administration experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, business, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Proven experience launching energy efficiency or clean energy programs or scaling new business lines.
• Proven business development experience and sales success.
• Strong understanding of utility program design, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and business development skills.
• Proficient in MS Suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development for program administration and implementation opportunities with utilities, state agencies, and funding entities.
• Develop and execute a growth-oriented plan to scale the practice, including go-to-market strategy and staffing model.
• Collaborate with internal teams to shape differentiated offerings in response to regulatory and market priorities.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with clients, regulators, and partners to identify new opportunities.
• Provide executive oversight of program delivery, ensuring compliance, data integrity, and achievement of savings and equity objectives.
