About The Role

As a Shift Supervisor at our Thermomechanical Treatment Facility (TTF), you will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations during your shift. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee boilers, turbines, and steam plant equipment, supervise plant personnel, and manage activities of Control Room Operators, Auxiliary Operators, and Crane Operators to maintain quality. Your duties include routine inspections, safety and environmental compliance, and ensuring smooth shift operations.

Responsibilities
  1. Review and prioritize daily operational activities during your shift.
  2. Supervise, train, and develop plant personnel for safe and efficient operations.
  3. Enforce safety procedures and policies across departments.
  4. Initiate emergency procedures as needed to maintain safety and compliance.
  5. Oversee production and maintenance activities, supporting outages and operational tasks.
  6. Identify and recommend operational improvements.
  7. Collaborate with different departments to resolve operational challenges.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must hold or obtain an ASME Provisional License.
  • Pass Site-Specific Operator’s License within 6 months.
  • At least 5+ years of hands-on experience or supervisory oversight in power plant operations.
  • Flexible working hours to ensure 24/7 coverage.
  • Knowledge of steam power stations, control systems, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Experience with DCS and CEM equipment.
Physical Demands
  • Walking, standing, sitting, climbing.
  • Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to wear a full-face respirator.
  • Work in various weather conditions.
