Job summary

Socotec is seeking a motivated Energy Project Manager in New York, NY, with 3-5 years of experience to join their Energy Modeling group. This role involves working on high-profile sustainability projects with real estate developers and construction companies.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of energy efficiency in large buildings and experience with energy modeling software like DOE 2.2 or Energy Plus. A PE or RA accreditation is highly desirable, and proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in energy analysis for US based projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) accreditation is highly desirable.
• Thorough knowledge of New York State and NY City Energy Code.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced energy modeling analysis for commercial and residential buildings.
• Perform energy auditing, benchmarking, data gathering, and verification.
• Develop and write reports detailing energy efficiency measures.
