Populous is seeking an early-career Building Performance Analyst to advance decarbonization and climate resilience in design projects. You will analyze building energy, comfort, and environmental performance using industry tools, collaborating closely with architects and engineers to propose practical, data-driven design solutions.

You will contribute to energy modeling workflows, documentation, and knowledge sharing, while benefiting from a comprehensive benefits package and professional growth

Competenze

• Bachelor's or master's in Building Science, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 0–4 years of relevant experience, including academic research, internships, or professional practice.
• Strong understanding of building physics, heat transfer, and thermal comfort.
• Experience with building energy modeling or environmental simulation tools.
• Preferred: IES-VE, EnergyPlus, OpenStudio, ClimateStudio, Rhino, Grasshopper, Ladybug Tools, Honeybee, Revit, SketchUp.

• Conducting building energy, carbon, and environmental performance analyses.
• Developing and maintaining building energy models using industry-standard simulation tools.
• Evaluating passive design strategies, building envelopes, and energy systems.
